Fun, not to be underestimated climb. Surprisingly irregular too with many sections of 10％ interspersed with better running sections. You continuously ride up through the forest, so there are barely any views. This ensures that, at least early in the morning, the climb is completely in the shade.
I.c.m. the Cormet de Roselend makes for a nice lap of about 125km.
Leuke, niet te onderschatten klim. Verrassend onregelmatig ook met veel stukken van 10％ afgewisseld met beter lopende stukken. Je rijdt continu door het bos naar boven, waardoor er amper uitzicht is. Dit zorgt er we voor dat, in ieder geval in het begin van de ochtend, de klim volledig in de schaduw ligt.
I.c.m. de Cormet de Roselend is er een mooie ronde van ca. 125km te maken.
Unknown gem - to me, that is. Beautiful route through the forest, virtually no flies and overtaken by a car once during the entire climb, after an hour and five minutes. Lovely descent too.
Onbekend pareltje - voor mij dan. Prachtige route door het bos, vrijwel geen last van vliegjes en tijdens de gehele klim één keer door een auto ingehaald, na een uur en vijf minuten. Heerlijke afdaling ook.

Beautifully winding through forest, alpine meadows and overlooking the mountain massifs opposite. At the top, you enter a picturesque village and get a clear descent towards the foot of La Plagne as your reward. Hidden gem!

Prachtig slingerend door het bos, alpenweiden en met uitzicht op de bergmassieven aan de overkant. Boven kom je in een pittoresk dorpje en krijg je een overzichtelijke afdaling richting de voet van La Plagne als beloning. Verborgen pareltje!
I RECOMMEND !!!! Beautiful pass on roads where there is nobody but also on roads that are still in very good condition! The descent is also pleasant if you take this pass in the opposite direction but it is also very technical.
Je RECOMMANDE !!!! Magnifique col sur des routes où il n'y a personne mais aussi sur des routes qui sont encore en très bon état ! La descente est également agréable si vous reprenez ce col en sens inverse mais bien technique également.
