The stream where the climb starts (to be crossed via a ford or a footbridge) is in a really beautiful little valley and the climb itself is also flanked by beautiful scenery (mostly forest). The climb itself has nice punch in several places but the asphalt - especially in the first half - is regularly bad. You first come out on a through road (not too busy) after which you take the next steep road a few metres further on. Just before the end there is a nice bouncer in terms of percentage.
De beek waar de klim begint (over te steken via een doorwaadbare plaats of een voetgangersbruggetje) ligt in een werkelijk prachtig dalletje en ook de klim zelf wordt geflankeerd door een fraaie omgeving (veelal bos). De klim zelf heeft op meerdere plaatsen lekker veel pit maar het asfalt is - vooral in de eerste helft - regelmatig slecht. Je komt eerst uit op een doorgaande weg (niet al te druk) waarna je enkele meters verderop flink steil het volgende weggetje pakt. Vlak voor het eind nog een lekkere uitsmijter qua percentage.
Narrow road with poor road surface and a crossing of a wide lane in the middle. Nevertheless fun to do due to similar percentages in the double digits. Do pay attention to the approach to the climb, here is a stream that can be high at times and there is no real bridge, there is the option to take the small bridge along the road.
Smalle weg met slecht wegdek en een oversteek van een brede baan in het midden. Desondanks leuk om te doen door de gelijkaardige percentages in de dubbele cijfers. Wel opletten naar de aanloop van de klim, hier ligt een beekje dat soms hoog kan staan en er is geen echte brug, er is wel de optie om het kleine brugje langs de weg te nemen.
