Definitely fun if you're in the area, but not especially a nice climb.

For the name! I made the diversions to do this climb that you hear so much about in professional races.
Not such a hard arse

On my way through Brittany I climbed it at the end of my trip. A tough start but was faster and less exhausted at the top than I thought. Still a climb with a nice history too. The road surface is perfect and not much traffic, the road at the foot is busier.

Climbed it in 2018 the morning before the Tour riders conquered it (on closed course)! So in daily life a busier job....

The 600 steep meters make you switch backwards, but it's also nice because it has been the finish of several Tour stages! Great when you're on holiday in Brittany
