Cyclists don’t like dead ends. And this is a proper dead end!
A gentle climb on a clean, deserted road. A good climb for tired cyclists. The scenery isn’t breathtaking, but the village of Montvenix is really charming. Its chalets are beautiful, and its church with its wooden bell tower and rusty cross is touching. A little fountain with a tap held up by a bicycle inner tube… It’s lovely in this village.
And for those who found the ride too easy, rest assured: head down the main street (Rue du Bois de Lune…) and, above all, make sure you cycle back up it!
A gradient of over 20% guaranteed!
