Montée très calme et régulière en cul de sac jusqu'au village de Montouvrard. Jolies vues sur Allevard et le bassin du Flumet au début, qui se passe en forêt. Une fois dans les prairies la vue porte sur la crête allant du Collet d'Allevard au Grand Charnier, et au loin sur les Bauges. Le bitume est de bonne qualité sur les 2 premiers kilomètres, puis irrégulier. La descente demande de la vigilance car pouvant être piégeuse, avec une présence de graviers, débris végétaux, ornières...Je ne me permets donc pas de prendre trop de vitesse.
