Most of this climb is identical to the route to Passo Bordala.
You start at the roundabout on the busy SS240 in Loppio where you turn into the Valle di Gresta, known for organic agriculture and horticulture.
The wide road with excellent tarmac consequently winds upwards past vineyards, fields and meadows nestled between the rock faces. You cycle through or past picturesque little villages centralised around the church tower.
Just before cycling into Ronzo -Chienis you leave the Bordala route on the left for the last 3 tough kilometres with as many hairpin bends on wide road that narrows towards the end. Just before the summit there is another tough +10%
kilometre section.
Summit plateau has nothing outside a water source and a café nearby. It even has the village's rubbish collection containers.
Tip: Start in Loppio is accessible from Torbole -Nago via car-free signposted cycling route next to the overcrowded SS240 (Lake Garda towards Brennerautostrade).

As an extra, on the way to or when descending, pick up Passo Bordala , but I personally found the other climbing side from Bolognano much nicer.
