The climb from the little church of Consonno to the top is the natural continuation of the one that climbs from Olginate. It starts from the square and up to the most characteristic building in the whole of Consonno (the oriental, fairytale-like building) has a surface that is, to say the least, disreputable, among other things, on very difficult gradients (even more than 15%). Extreme care must be taken in this section, especially with bdc bikes. Once you leave Consonno and enter the forest, the climb is still hard on a small road that is uneven in places and has no protection, which allows you to reach the summit marked by the barrier. Unfortunately, the panorama is barely visible due to the thick vegetation. This is a pity, because the views of Lake Olginate, the Grigina, Resegone and Valcava would be worth it. Putting together the climb from Olginate and this one, you have 6 km that are really demanding and fortunately without traffic.
