Consonno from Olginate

Definitely a demanding climb, especially in the first part up to the first bar, which is fortunately short. After the first bar it is smoother and you can get into a good rhythm. Good ground in the first part then gradually deteriorating

One of the toughest climbs in the area first 2.5km always over 10% with peaks of 15%. watch out for the ruined asphalt in the last part

as a route in general all fun, then it continues on a falsopiano through Consonno and resumes the last stretch, another 120-130m of steep climb to a barrier, after which you descend to villa vergano
As a training climb it is exceptional up to the first abandoned building, I think roughly coinciding with the last red piece of the altimetry here (I have about 320m of elevation gain): all very steady and steep, I don't think there is anything like it in Brianza. Then, in addition to levelling out, the asphalt becomes asphalt in a manner of speaking. On the other hand, the section I indicate has recently been asphalted, so the surface is brand new (I write in summer 2025)

From Olginate it is a tough climb, before and after the bar that prohibits cars from entering the last section. Once you reach the top of the ghost town, watch out for glass and debris along the narrow streets. I then recommend descending from Villa Vergano.

Short but challenging climb in the initial part.
Being an abandoned place, the road conditions, especially in the second part, are in a state of decay.
You will arrive in the 'ghost' village of Consonno, which was born as a place for fun from the idea of a noblie of the time (middle of the last century).
Due to landslides, it has fallen into decay.
