What a monster climb! Done in July 2023 with 30 degrees. Halfway up it really gets tough and for kilometres it doesn't get below 10% with stretches of 15-19%. The view at the top over Lake Maggiore makes up for everything. Road surface is ok for climbing and hardly any traffic.

Nice climb starting through the forest and at the top you get occasional nice views of the valley and surrounding peaks and lake! Road surface fine and very gentle climb!

I came across a baby deer there early one morning!

I did the descent on the other side. That one is not too fast on a narrow road with moderate tarmac, but if you take it easy, it's more than fine! From the descent, you have a beautiful view of the lake!
