The first four hairpin bends get your heart rate soaring immediately and leave you breathless. The middle section is rideable but the gradient never drops below 8％ with many sections at 12/13％. The forest part is very cool, you can reach your own pace.
At the top you have to ditch the road bike and do a walking part.
I primi 4 tornanti fanno impennare la frequenza cardiaca da subito e non ti lasciano fiato. La parte centrale è pedalabile ma la pendenza non molla mai sotto l’8％ con molti tratti al 12/13％. Molto fresco la parte nel bosco, si può raggiungere il proprio ritmo.
In cima per il belvedere bisogna mollare la bici da corsa e fare una parte piedi.
An ascent to be made at least once, it proceeds fairly smoothly with gradients that keep the legs tense. You start in the village and slowly you are immersed in the forest, I recommend riding it in the morning in summer (for the coolness and to find less traffic).
The asphalt is well maintained, there are some viewpoints along the way, but in general the panorama is absent, you should take a dirt diversions to reach the belvedere.
Salita da fare almeno una volta, procede abbastanza regolare con pendenze che tengono le gambe in tensione. Si parte dal paese e piano piano si é immersi nel bosco, consiglio di percorrerla al mattino d’estate (per il fresco e per trovare meno traffico).
Asfalto ben tenuto, lungo il tragitto ci sono dei punti panoramici, ma in generale il panorama é assente, bisognerebbe fare una deviazione sterrata per arrivare al belvedere.
