La prima parte della salita mi è piaciuta, Tarcetta e Spignon son dei bei paesini.
Purtroppo poco dopo Spignon (km 5) fino a che la strada non si ricongiunge con la SP13 (km 9) il manto stradale è molto rovinato, con diverse buche larghe intorno alle quali bisogna fare slalom. Percorribile tranquillamente in salita con bici da corsa ma ne sconsiglio la discesa.
Uno dei modi per collegare il Matajur con le molteplici salite in zona Canebola, anche se passare per Montefosca è forse meglio.
