Beautiful cycle path and a more than pleasant alternative to the busy cycle path to the Piramide. It doesn't get really steep anywhere, but you do have some great views of the beautiful landscape every now and then.

Fine alternative to the always busy Pyramide, especially if you come from the corner Doorn / Maern. Beautiful winding path through the forest where you indeed hardly notice that it goes up.
It is worth mentioning that from the moment you turn into the Maarnseweg it turns into gravel to Austerlitz, the kind that is good to do on a racing bike.

Unexpectedly many altimeters for this beautifully situated and somewhat winding bike path. I have cycled it many times and you can feel it going up but because there are no reference points it is hard to tell how much. It's not really hard, but it's nice cycling.
In the descent on this path you did notice that you are going down by the way.
