A climb in sections. As soon as you cross the bridge at Siabost, it starts climbing. Not very steep, but the road goes up for just under a kilometre. Then you come to an intermediate section, which goes up and down little piano-piano; doesn't amount to much....
Until right off the road you pass the loch. You can see the road going up the height after a little descent, and on the left you can also see something that looks like the old road, where grass is now growing and sheep are walking, and you can only be glad that it goes up to 12% for a while here, because what that old road can be...
Once you've conquered this section, it's mostly pushing on until you reach the top, while cycling through a landscape that gets more and more beautiful.
Highly recommended!

Aanrader!
