A climb with an ugly busy section and a nice quiet section. The first 1.5 km are on the very busy connecting road with poor tarmac and are pretty much cycling hell on earth. As soon as you turn off (first past some houses and then right into a farm road) it becomes lovely and quiet and the road climbs nicely up a slope. On a wider road, turn left, a somewhat flatter stretch and then the last part winds back up to the top. The second part is a lovely route but unfortunately it cannot compensate ... read more

The second part is a lovely route but unfortunately it cannot compensate for the misery of the first part. The route becomes a lot more enjoyable if you replace the first part with one of the climbs to Oneux.
