Unfortunately, there’s a lot of traffic on this road as it’s one of the only routes by car between the Joncherettes neighbourhood and the lower part of the town.
It's a magnificent climb, but the street is one-way, relatively narrow and we're going the wrong way. So if a wide car comes along, you have to put your foot down :/.
However, in my opinion, it's a difficulty that's well worth the diversions. I loved riding up this hill!
The end is serious! Rue Élisée holds its own from start to finish. It climbs up through the midst of small detached houses and well-appointed homes.
Nothing incredible, but if you're looking for solid gradients, this is a real option...
