The start from Ternand is a bit difficult for about 3 km. Then the slope becomes gentler after St Paul and the final stretch is particularly rolling. On the way up, you can see the church of St Laurent d'Oingt and the French favourite village Oingt. There is an exhibition of nativity scenes throughout December. A must see.
