If you want to extend the pleasure after climbing from Uriage to Le Penet, you can do this tough, uneven climb. In terms of scenery, it doesn't offer any particular added value, but its gradients make it a good test for gear ratios.

If you don't have wide tyres, you'd better go back down the same way: the first part of the descent on the other side (more precisely to the junction with the route des Seiglières) is in very poor condition.

Si on souhaite prolonger le plaisir après être monté d'Uriage vers le Penet, on peut faire cette montée, irrégulière et coriace. Question paysages, elle ne présente pas de plue-value particulière, mais ses pourcentages en font un bon test pour les braquets.
