Most of the climb is between buildings. Is indeed nice for a change (see comment by Leon). Good to wear a helmet, the descent crosses a golf course between courses ;-). Furthermore, this part of France is really a must for cycling. Within 4 hours you are there, the landscape is beautiful and there are enough altimeters to make.
Klim loopt grootste deel tussen bebouwing door. Is inderdaad wel leuk voor de verandering (zie comment van Leon). Goed om een helm te dragen, de afdaling kruist een golfterrein tussen de banen door ;-). Verder is dit deel van Frankrijk echt een anrader om te gaan fietsen. Binnen 4 uurtjes ben je er, het landschap is prachtig en er zijn genoeg hoogtemeters te maken.
This slope, unlike most slopes in the region, doesn't run through open fields or a small piece of forest, but between farms and other buildings. That makes the climb for some variation in the route quite pleasant.
Deze helling loopt in tegenstelling tot de meeste hellingen in de streek niet door de open velden of een klein stukje bos, maar tussen de boerderijen en andere bebouwing. Dat maakt de klim voor wat variatie in de route wel aangenaam.
