During a cycling holiday, we stayed in a cycling hotel at the top of this climb. In itself, this climb is doable, but after a day in the Vosges it is a big obstacle for a well-deserved beer. The crux was to always have reserve for this climb. First part is visually heavy. Percentages are manageable, but you ride out of the village and that distorts.
