Challenging ascent in the final part, arriving at the Le Panche pass and then falsopiano until below the Volterraio castle (spectacular view from the castle).
The road surface is good and there is little traffic after leaving Rio Marina.
Perhaps avoid going there in August, as it is too hot and busy.
Absence of water fountains.
There are no refreshment facilities on arrival.
Salita impegnativa nella parte finale , arrivati al colle Le Panche poi falsopiano si arriva sin sotto il castello del Volterraio (vista dal castello spettacolare).
Il fondo stradale è buono e il traffico , usciti da Rio Marina, è poco.
Evitate magari di andarci ad Agosto, troppo caldo e trafficato.
Assenza di fontane per acqua.
Non ci sono possibilità di ristoro all'arrivo.
