Definitely one of the most demanding climbs on the island of Elba, although short, the longest is on the opposite side, from Rio Marina.
The view from the castle is beautiful, and well worth a stop.
There are no fountains or refreshments on arrival at the pass. Beware in summer, very hot and with little shade.
We did a loop tour starting from Cavo and passing through Capoliveri, beautiful tour.
Narrow roads, be careful going downhill.
Sicuramente una salita tra le più impegnative dell'Isola d'Elba , anche se breve, la più lunga si trova dal lato opposto, da Rio Marina.
Bellissimo il panorama dal Castello, merita una sosta.
Non ci sono fontane e ristori all'arrivo al colle. Attenzione in estate molto caldo e con poca ombra.
Fatto giro ad anello con partenza da Cavo e passaggio a Capoliveri, bellissimo giro.
Strade strette , fate attenzione in discesa.
