Vanuit La Grave gedaan, direct (echt direct) na de eerste tunnel na La Grave sla je af naar rechts. De eerste drie kilometer zijn zeer steil en zeer mooi. Zwaar maar met geweldige uitzichten op het La Meije gebergte. Het tweede deel is niet indrukwekkend. Op de "top" kun je van een prachtig uitzicht genieten, Helaas kun je geen rondje rijden en in totaal is het toch een vrij korte klim. Dus prima als je in La Grave bent.
