Oh dear! Being fairly well trained, I found this pass very difficult and totally depressing with some endless straights. But it's very calm and beautiful (and the variant that goes through the middle of the route on the left even more so).
Oh la vache! En étant plutôt bien entraîné, j'ai trouvé ce col très difficile et totalement déprimant avec certaines lignes droites sans fin. Mais c'est très calme et beau (et la variante qui par au milieu du parcours sur la gauche encore plus).
Superb climb! Beautiful scenery, little traffic, restaurant at the top. Occasionally tough in terms of steepness but mostly doable. Also plenty of shade at the start as you cycle through the forest. Beautiful views and good road surface.
Supermooie klim! Schitterende omgeving, weinig verkeer, restaurant op de top. Af en toe pittig qua steilheid maar meestal goed te doen. Ook veel schaduw aan het begin omdat je door het bos fietst. Mooie uitzichten en goed wegdek.
