Climb done after the Mollard to head back to Maurienne via La Toussuire. In itself not an overly tough climb with a fairly flat to even descending intermediate section. Some nice sections but otherwise a not very exciting climb. The road surface is moderate,

You shouldn't do it for Le Corbier and La Toussuire, they are indeed those typical ski resorts that have nothing nice to offer.

In the last kilometre, you pass the finish line of the Tour rides, however, this is not the end point of the climb as it is listed in Climbfinder, you have to continue cycling a bit further.

In de laatste kilometer passeer je de aankomstlijn van de Tourritten, dit is echter niet het eindpunt van de klim zoals deze in Climbfinder is opgenomen, je moet nog een stukje verder door fietsen.

A few metres after the deviation (it is likely that you have already climbed more than 3 km coming from St-Jean-de-Maurienne) the yellow-white milestone appears, indicating 14 km to the end of the climb. It refers to this variant (the alternative is shorter and slightly steeper), ridden by the Tour in 2015 and on other occasions. The climb is rideable and you pass through some typical villages with beautiful panoramas. It's a shame that both Le Corbier and La Toussuire are, in my opinion, horrible due to several architectural monsters.
