The Dordogne is a spicier region than expected after all, and after more than 100 kilometres with 2000+ altimeters, this does come in. Of course, it doesn't compare to an Alpine or Pyrenean col, but it still gives a good idea. Unfortunately a fairly busy connecting road, so for peace and quiet and beautiful scenery you shouldn't seek out this climb.
De Dordogne is toch een pittigere streek dan gedacht, en na ruim 100 kilometer met 2000+ hoogtemeters komt dit wel binnen. Het is natuurlijk niet te vergelijken met een Alpen- of Pyreneeëncol, maar toch geeft het een goed idee. Helaas een vrij drukke verbindingsweg, dus voor de rust en mooie omgeving moet je deze klim niet opzoeken.

In deze regio zo'n beetje het maximale wat je er uit kunt halen qua hoogtemeters. Een goed geasfalteerde weg, maar dat vinden de auto's helaas ook. Het is goed te doen, maar niet idyllisch.
