Nice shortcut to avoid having to pass through De Lutte. Beautiful road, especially after the railroad crossings. The first part of the climb can't be called a climb, but this second part is really a climb in Twente. Evenly uphill, after the bend it clearly flattens out.... read more

Truly an undiscovered gem in the beautiful Twente coulisse landscape.
Actually the climb starts, for me at least, right over the railway track, the "Farwickweg from De Lutte" on this site. There it already starts climbing gently until a bit more than 5%. Then it descends slightly to the start of the climb described here, which gradually becomes steeper and steeper until just before the bend to the right, towards the top.
The climb is hidden, you will rarely meet anyone, goes over narrow farm roads and has something of a real climb because you cycle out of the forest into open fields with a great view!
A real insider tip for those who want to discover the Twente countryside on their racing bike!
