From Munich towards Innsbrück, the route via Kochelsee is definitely recommended. Beautiful, not too busy and with the Kesselberg in it a nice little climb. On its own, the climb is not much, but if you indeed continue to Innsbrück, this is the start of 60 km to Seefeld that keep going up. Usually only by 2-3％, but still enough to get into the legs. So the start with the Kesselberg does make itself felt throughout the route.
Vanuit München richting Innsbrück is de route via Kochelsee zeker een aanrader. Mooi, niet te druk en met de Kesselberg erin een leuk klimmetje. Op zichzelf stelt de klim niet veel voor, maar als je inderdaad doorrijdt naar Innsbrück is dit het begin van 60 km tot aan Seefeld die steeds omhoog lopen. Meestal maar met 2 à 3％, maar toch voldoende om wel in de benen te gaan zitten. Het begin met de Kesselberg laat zich dus wel de hele route voelen.
Friday morning it was manageable with the motorbikes...there are several crosses in every bend. The only view is over the Kochelsee, otherwise forest.
Freitag Vormittag war’s überschaubar mit den Motorrädern…in jeder Kurve stehen mehrere Kreuze. Aussicht einzig über den Kochelsee, sonst Wald.
