It is not much of a climb because over a good 2 km you bridge 90 metres altitude and the road is mainly straight. But the approach from Francillon-Sur-Roubion is very nice. This undulating road is very fickle in terms of percentages and especially some short steep descents. Once you get on top of this climb, you can take the col de Pascaline on the left or the col du Pertuis on the right or go straight up the steep climb to Truinas.
