Climbed about 0900 Sunday 28May 2023. First Km is brutal with Garmin showing 17％ at some points and a very rough surface at the bottom of the ascent. Some stones and loose gravel after recent thunderstorms. The run to the start is along the Viaur river and was gorgeous in the sunlight. But I hit the start quite suddenly and found the climb tough with the sudden severity - I wasn't ready mentally. It never really flattens out and even the last few hundred metres are at circa 8％. Beautiful wooded climb onto a fabulous fast plateau.
