Starting at the little church, you drive up on cobbled roads through the built-up area. Nicely visible slope because of the houses. Halfway left and immediately right again where you see the road rising nicely. The 10％ sign promises a lot but the slope is only very short before it flattens out.
Beginnend bij het kerkje rijdt je over klinkerwegen door de bebouwde kom naar boven. Mooi zichtbare helling vanwege de huizen. Halverwege links en meteen weer rechts waar je de weg mooi ziet stijgen. Het bordje 10％ belooft veel maar de helling is maar heel kort voordat deze afvlakt.
Great climb. You start at the beautiful little church at the waterfront and before you know it you are spinning upwards at ten percent. Everything takes place between houses, although you have a few hundred meters long forest on your left. Nice, nah, there are nicer ones. But because of the steepness, the idyllic starting point and the high percentages of inclination it is a climb where I want to return.
Toffe klim. Je begint bij het mooie kerkje aan het water en voor je het weet zit je aan tien procent naar boven te spinnen. Alles vindt plaats tussen huizen, al heb je een paar honderd meter lang bos aan je linkerhand. Mooi? Nah, er zijn mooiere. Maar door de steilte, het idyllische startpunt en de hoge stijgingspercentages toch een klim waar ik terug wil komen.
