De klim richting Schimmert via de Soppestraat/Kupstraat is mooier en fijner, dus deze versie is eigenlijk alleen een optie als je bij een winkel langs de route in Spaubeek moet zijn. Het vervolg vanaf de dorpsstraat is mooi, maar ik zou niet voor deze variant kiezen.

Verderop gaan de percentages wel omhoog (en slingert de weg soms aardig). Uiteindelijk verlaat je de bebouwde kom, maar dan zit je al tegen het eind.
