It is spring, in particular, that makes things a bit trickier for the average Dutchman. Actually, for the average cyclist, this one shouldn't be tricky. For Walloon/Flemish asphalt good quality.
Het is vooral de lengte, die het voor de gemiddelde Nederlander wat lastiger maakt. Eigenlijk mag deze voor de gemiddelde fietser niet lastig zijn. Voor waals/vlaams asfalt goede kwaliteit.
Climb on a wider road with good tarmac to Henri-Chapelle. In the beginning it goes up nicely from a little valley, then a bit flatter and then steeper again over a small bump. On top of that, there is a nice view over the ridge you have to climb for the finish. Eventually you go up along that slope with more and more beautiful views to the right. Quiet road further on.
Klim over een wat bredere weg met goed asfalt naar Henri-Chapelle. In het begin gaat het vanuit een dalletje even lekker omhoog, daarna een wat vlakker stuk en dan weer wat steiler over een kleine bult. Op de top daarvan mooi uitzicht over de heuvelrug waar je tegenop moet voor het eindpunt. Uiteindelijk ga je langs die helling omhoog met steeds mooiere uitzichten aan de rechterkant. Rustige weg verder.
