From a small stream valley, the climb is relaxed at first, but once you have turned left, it gets a little steeper and after the bend, you cycle between ribbon settlements to the provincial road which you enter via a sort of hairpin bend. This road is very busy but the traffic behaves nicely. After the bend, the climb is quite steep, also because you see a long straight road in front of you. At the next bend, you are in the centre of town and today it goes a lot flatter to the water tower that marks the highest point. Reasonable to good tarmac. Unfortunately, not much view because you are mostly between houses.
