Good cycle path along a rather busy provincial road. Now and then, nice views forwards and backwards. The road has a bend so that makes a difference in terms of boring, but the long straight stretch to the roundabout seems to last forever. A reasonable runner though.
Goed fietspad langs een best drukke provinciale weg. Zo nu en dan leuk uitzicht vooruit en naar achteren. De weg heeft een bocht dus wat scheelt qua saaiheid, maar het lange rechte stuk naar de rotonde lijkt eindeloos te duren. Wel een redelijke loper verder.
Only useful to drive from Maastricht to Cadier en Keer. The bike path is good and is separated from the road, but that is nothing new for the Netherlands.
Alleen nuttig om vanuit Maastricht naar Cadier en Keer te rijden. Het fietspad is goed en is gescheiden van de weg, maar dat is niks nieuws voor Nederland.
Since the time as a little "gemain" the climb has been to bike to/from school. Cycled up it countless times. To Cadier en Keer there are much nicer and shorter steep variants, but this is the easiest one to get up quickly.
Sinds de tijd als kleine "gemain" de klim geweest om van/naar school te fietsen. Ontelbaar vaak omhoog gefietst. Naar Cadier en Keer zijn veel mooiere en kortere steile varianten te vinden, maar dit is wel de makkelijkste om snel boven te komen.
Rather uninteresting road. To go from Maastricht to the plateau of Margraten there are many other nice roads.
Vrij oninteressante weg. Om vanuit Maastricht richting het plateau van Margraten te gaan zijn er veel meer andere leukere wegen.
