Nice climb almost directly from Salzburg. The road is good and wide, but there is a lot of (car) traffic going up, especially if you do this 'afternoon after work. Last three km are tough, with the added challenge that it starts with a long, straight, steep section. So you can see it gets tough (the steepest is still around the bend, by the way). At the top is a tap for water, handy if you get to the top thirsty. Afterwards, you can enjoy a nice view of the city and beyond.

Leuke klim vrijwel direct vanuit Salzburg.

The first part is a nice climb up to Zistelalm, then it is toil and sweat to reach the top. Fortunately, as a reward, you can take a terrace at the top and enjoy the view.
Nice to combine with the Heuberg.

Nice discovery via Climbfinder.nl and it's not the first one!
Nice climb with heavy final kilometers. The last 2,5 to 3 km, the percentage does not drop below 11 to 14%.
There is no recovery moment.
At the top, you have a beautiful view of the region. The whole region is a discovery for me.
I descended to Salzburg-Aigen. The steep last km's you have along each side. I must say the total climb is probably from Salzburg-Aigen much nicer and a narrower path. Slightly less traffic. And still typical Austrian top road surface.

Iets minder verkeer. En nog altijd typisch Oostenrijks top wegdek.
