A very pleasant climb, with a lovely view of the south side of the valley, Rothau and Schirmeck. There are some nice hairpins on the way down, and the road is in very good condition. Unfortunately Fréconrupt is a cul-de-sac, so it's impossible to do a loop, but this short climb is definitely worth doing.
Montée très sympathique, avec une vue très jolie sur le côté sud de la vallée, Rothau et Schirmeck. De belles épingles à cheveux pour la descente, et route en très bon état. Malheureusement Fréconrupt est un cul-de-sac et il est donc impossible de faire une boucle, mais cette petite côte est vraiment à faire.

The route is excellent and quiet, and offers a beautiful view of the valley and Champ du Feu.
After a few gentle hectometres, the gradient rises to 9-10% for just over 2km. You reach the village on a false flat. The road ends just outside the village.
This short climb is ideal to complement the many interesting climbs in the area.
