The climb is in two parts. The first part is not so nice considering you start in the centre of Sedan and then slowly start climbing through a residential area. However, in the middle you come to a flatter section and then you ride through a field for a short while before coming to a stretch of perfect tarmac. The road continues through a beautiful forest to the top.
De klim is in twee delen. Het eerste stuk is niet zo mooi gezien je in het centrum van Sedan vertrekt en dan langzaam doorheen een woonwijk begint te stijgen. In het midden kom je echter op een vlakker stuk en dan rijd je heel even door een veld om dan op een stuk perfect asfalt te komen. De weg vervolgt zich doorheen een prachtig bos tot boven.
