A good first steep section to get you going, a small flat area, then two sharp hairpins. Traffic is normally light, so it's worth the effort. This then allows you to switch to Gorze. The views of the vineyards are lovely on the descent that follows.
The gradients are steep in places. This is one of the hardest climbs in the area.
