Nice climb of over 2 kilometres and one of the options via past Croix de Charneux and via Charneux towards Battice/Herve. The first 1½ kilometres you can cycle up the climb at leisure. Only once you have turned right onto La Cour, the gradient towards the top goes up considerably. Just before the summit, you will see the huge Croix de Charneux on the right in the field.... read more

The "lighter" variant to cycle from the north to the Croix de Charneux, but don't underestimate this one. It all starts out quiet and, after turning left, it gets even more quiet. Then, however, you turn right into a small road and - you are already reasonably on the last part of the climb - then it suddenly gets very spicy. The last bit is relatively easy to cycle out. Generally reasonable to good tarmac, some inferior bits (but they are only short). Nice surroundings.

Aardige omgeving.
