The terminus at the Croix de Charneux has nice views but the climb is only so-so. You cycle up steadily between the houses so there is little to see. From the north to the Croix de Charneux is much nicer then (and it seems many cyclists think so). Reasonable to good tarmac.
Het eindpunt bij het Croix de Charneux heeft mooi uitzicht naar de klim is maar zo-zo. Gestaag fiets je grotendeels tussen de huizen omhoog zodat er weinig te zien valt. Vanuit het noorden naar het Croix de Charneux is dan veel fraaier (en dat vinden veel wielrenners zo te zien). Redelijk tot goed asfalt.
