A tough climb just outside Bergamo. You can close the loop by descending to Castello della Moretta. The asphalt is unexpectedly good. The hairpin bend on Via Rosciano avoids the direct climb on Via Maresana for the daredevils. The toughest stretch seems to be near the RAI Way antenna. In reality, after the La Maresana restaurant, the toughest section begins, 500m never below 18％. Fortunately always in the shade. To be avoided if it has just rained in summer because of the very high humidity that makes the air unbreathable. Definitely less difficult this climb than the lesser-known one that climbs from the Castle
Una salita tosta appena fuori Bergamo. Si può chiudere ad anello scendendo verso il Castello della Moretta. L'asfalto è insospettabilmente buono. Il tornante su via Rosciano evita lo strappo diretto su Via Maresana dedicato ai temerari. Il tratto più duro sembra in prossimità dell'antenna di RAI Way. In realtà dopo il ristorante La Maresana inizia il tratto più duro, 500m mai sotto il 18％. Per fortuna sempre in ombra. Da evitare se ha appena piovuto in estate per l'altissima umidità che rende irrespirabile l'aria. Sicuramente meno dura questa salita rispetto a quella meno conosciuta che sale dal Castello
Useful for training, hard and sustained rips, almost always under the forest. Beautiful views. Also doable in winter.
Utile per allenamento, strappi duri e sostenuti, quasi sempre sotto al bosco. Bei panorami. Fattibile anche in inverno.
