The whole climb is on new cobbles, but they aren't compact. The road is only accessible to cyclist and walkers, as some poles block the way at the bottom, and at the top right at the junction with Kamerdelle. The gradient is constant the whole way through, but it is difficult to get a rhythm due to the nature of the climb. Most of it is in the Wolvendael parc, so you are immersed in the woods.
