Nice climb to leave Houlgate. Road surface is a bit poor here and there due to bad repairs and potholes. If you want to make the climb a lot harder, I would take the Rue Baumier that goes up from the beach. This is a lovely calf-biter with substantial gradients.
Mooi klimmetje om Houlgate te verlaten. Wegdek is her en der wat minder door slechte reparaties en gaten. Wil je de klim een stuk zwaarder maken dan zou ik de Rue Baumier pakken die vanaf het strand omhoog loopt. Dit is een heerlijke kuitenbijter met flinke stijgingspercentages.
