I don't understand why Climbfinder rates this climb as the most difficult in the Massif Armoricain region. The Menez Quelerc'h on Châteaulin, for example, is much harder, as is the C9 between Lagonna Quimerc'h and Rosnoen - and at Pont de Buis the climb up Rue Squiriou is a good cardio workout! The Côte du Vieux Quimerc'h is quite steep in places, it's true (especially after crossing the Route du Vieux Quimerc'h), but for the most part it's quite gentle (hence its length). The surface is very poor in places - it's barely passable on a road bike. Personally, I prefer to go via Loperec. The view from the top is pleasant enough, but not exceptional. But if you're looking for a good climb in the area, there are much more interesting (and more difficult) ones.
