Exactly seven years ago, I went hill biking for the first time for 150 km. I appeared to be lured into deval in a ride packed with steep climbs. Here, halfway through the ride, on the Côte de Wanne (via Neuville), I had to get off m'n bike for the first time during a climb. Especially on the unpaved part, I found it very tough. However, the views were very beautiful, see also the attached photo from 2017.
Exact 7 jaar geleden, ging ik voor de eerste keer 150 km in de heuveltjes fietsen. Ik bleek in deval gelokt in een rit boordenvol steile klimmen. Hier, halverwege de rit, op de Côte de Wanne (via Neuville) moest ik voor de eerste keer van m'n fiets afstappen tijdens een klim. Vooral op het onverharde deel vond ik het erg zwaar. De uitzichten waren echter erg mooi, zie ook bijgevoegde foto uit 2017.
Very nice climb although I think the wanneranval is a nicer part only it is really tough especially if you do it right after the stockeu
Zeer mooie beklimming al vind ik de wanneranval wel een mooier deel alleen is hij echt wel zwaar zeker als je deze doet direct na de stockeu
