By the time I conquered the climb, evening was falling, so the traffic was quieter and the atmosphere all the more beautiful. Definitely a must for those who do not like to climb too steeply.
Op het moment dat ik de klim bedwong was de avond aan het vallen, waardoor het verkeer al wat rustiger was en de sfeer des te mooier. Zeker een aanrader voor zij die niet graag te steil klimmen.
It's a long climb up a gentle but continuous slope from the Lesse valley at Houyet to the heights? The road is in good condition and quite wide, but it can be quite busy in summer as the area is quite touristy. The landscape is rather blocked, and offers few beautiful perspectives.
C'est une longue ascension qui monte en pente douce mais continue, depuis la vallée de la Lesse à Houyet jusque sur les hauteurs? La route est en bon état et bien large, mais elle peut être assez fréquentée en période estivale car la région est assez touristique. Le paysage est assez bouché, et offre assez peu de belles perspectives.
The climb follows a very big road where it can be crowded at times. There is enough space for cars to pass. The hairpin bends are nice, but you won´t get any nice views.
De klim volgt een zeer grote baan waar het soms druk kan zijn. Er is wel genoeg plaats voor auto´s om te passeren. De haarspeldbochten zijn tof maar je wordt nergens op mooie uitzichten getrakteerd.
