Slope which is preceded by an extremely long drop, or even sometimes a bit more than that. When you take the Route de Saint-Omer (D206) the climb gets steeper. Once between the houses in the bends the climb reaches its steepest point. Here it is hard to maintain speed. For a while it seems to level off, before a last small bend leads to the top.
Helling die vooraf gegaan wordt door een uiterst lang valsplat of zelfs af en toe iets meer dan dat. Wanneer je de Route de Saint-Omer (D206) inslaat wordt de klim steeds steiler. Eenmaal tussen de huizen in de bochtjes bereikt de klim zijn steilste punt. Hier is het flink harken om snelheid vast te houden. Even lijkt het af te vlakken, voordat een laatste knikje naar de top leidt.
First kilometre goes up false flat where you better keep some reserve for the steeper percentages which follow to the end. From the houses it goes up difficult with some bends. Good tarmac on a quiet two-lane road.
Eerste kilometer loopt vals plat omhoog waar je beter nog wat reserve houd voor de steilere percentages die volgen naar het einde toe. Vanaf de huizen loopt het lastig omhoog met enkele bochten. Goed asfalt op een rustige tweevaksbaan.
