Surely the best way to cycle up the plateau towards the Meuse Valley from Houyet. The other options are big, open regional roads with a lot of traffic. Nowhere really difficult.
Toch wel de beste manier om vanuit Houyet het plateau richting de Maasvallei op te fietsen. De andere opties zijn grote, open gewestwegen met heel wat verkeer. Nergens echt moeilijk.
Nice quiet climb on excellent tarmac where you hardly encounter people or traffic. After the first beautiful part, you have to pass through the agglomeration of Herhet, but then it becomes almost as beautiful again until you enter the N929.
Mooie rustige klim op uistekend asfalt waar je amper volk of verkeer tegenkomt. Na het eerste mooie stuk moet je even door de agglomeratie van Herhet, maar daarna wordt het opnieuw bijna zo mooi tot je de N929 oprijdt.
