The best way is to go down to the very bottom of Gommécourt and walk up the Grand Rue, which leads to the rue des écoles. It's straight on! You never turn. I prefer the other side from Clachaloze (which I think is the best short climb in the area, especially if you combine it with the côte de la Roche Guyon).
Le mieux est de descendre tout en bas de Gommécourt et de remonter la Grand Rue qui conduit à la rue des écoles. C’est tout droit ! On ne tourne jamais. Je préfère l’autre versant depuis Clachaloze (qui est selon moi la meilleure petite ascension des environs surtout si on la couple avec la côte de la Roche Guyon).
