A pleasant climb in a village with a name that puts you in a good mood. It climbs steadily, never very steeply. You pass through vineyards and wave to the cows, who appreciate the bikes. Nothing too crazy. Nothing unpleasant. It's calm. The road is OK, but not much more (gravel). It's on the road between Château-Thierry and the Jaulgonne vineyard (which you have to climb).... read more

Nice climb, there are some decent gradients over a long period of time. Great for training for rolling passes. The end of the climb is very pleasant because it's on a cul-de-sac where it's absolutely quiet in the countryside-forest. The famous orientation table, which is indicated, is a bit rubbish though: you can't understand it very well and it's dirty.
